STATEWIDE TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE CONSTRUCTION PLANNING STUDY (STICPS)

Project Manager for the Alaska DOT&PF to provide strategic support for gas line negotiations, and to assess the state’s role in delivery of infrastructure required for the proposed gas line. Statewide stakeholder groups included transportation agency personnel, directors of ports and harbors, the Alaska Railroad, city managers/planners, the military, village and regional Native Corporations and state legislators. The outcomes were a detailed project list, work breakdown structure, budget and timeline necessary to deliver $4B in roads, bridges, rail and support facilities. The delivery approach was generated to support accelerated funding, R/W acquisition, regulatory permitting, design and construction.
