The new 100,000+SF facility will protect the artifacts of Alaska’s past and connect this legacy to the future. Phase One pre-construction included a detailed Needs Assessment resulting in a state appropriation of $7.5M for Phase Two planning and design. Led the development of a CM/GC construction approach and design team procurement criteria; organizational development and strategic planning with the joint staffs; formation of the statewide advisory committee; and exploration of public/private partners. The project is now in construction under management of DOT&PF.
